(Updated 4/22/2021)

This school year there are very specific steps to take when your child is not feeling well. It is very important that parents and staff follow this protocol to ensure that cases of COVID19 do not go undiagnosed resulting in students and their family members getting ill or spreading the virus to others. Basically, if your child isn’t feeling well, here is what you do:

  • DO NOT bring them to school.
  • Fill out your CrisisGo survey honestly to alert school staff.
  • See the Decision Tree linked below to know what your next steps should be.
  • Talk with school staff to determine your child’s Return To School Date so there is no confusion, your child is back in action as soon as possible and parents or staff can be notified of possible exposure, if necessary. Your privacy will be respected.

Our ability to remain open to in-person leaning relies heavily on communication with parents and our efforts to prevent cases in our community.

Please see this current (Tier 3) COVID19 School Decision Tree in English and Spanish to determine what to do when your child has ANY type of illness from sniffles to COVID. If you have any questions, you can contact our school nurse, Mary Contreras at [email protected] or call the school office at 415-897-5104.
