NUSD Student Technology Repair and Replacement Guide

The Novato Unified School District issues a computing device to each student. Devices are issued to support classroom instruction. Students are expected to be responsible for instructional materials issued to them consistent with our Acceptable Use Policy and California Education Code. Parents or guardians are responsible for the cost of replacing instructional materials that are willfully defaced, otherwise injured, or not returned. Wear or damage of instructional materials through ordinary use, or from manufacturing defects, would not apply. The cost of replacement and repair for student technology devices are:

  • Chromebook replacement $240
  • Chromebook screen repair $40
  • Chromebook keyboard repair $50
  • Chromebook charger replacement $25
  • iPad replacement $300
  • iPad screen repair $100
  • iPad charger replacement $25

Payment should be sent to the District Office with the invoice to the attention of:

Tiffany Tweede, Accounts Receivable.
