2020 has been… different. It may be hard to look back on the last nine months and see the positives, but for many people 2020 provided one thing they didn’t have before: time. Time to reflect, examine, rediscover and hopefully appreciate who and what is around them.  Adversity also teaches us a lot about ourselves and this year there has been no shortage of those opportunities to learn.

As we begin to round the corner on COVID19 with vaccinations beginning this week for healthcare workers, school closing for the holiday break and plans for smaller, home holiday celebrations beginning, we hope you will consider sharing your story with us and your Pleasant Valley community in the comments of this article on our Facebook Page.

What did you learn about yourself? What do wish you had done differently? What changes have taken place in your family because of the pandemic? How did you see our community come together?  Write your story in the comments and share a photo. Be sure to also include what our little eagles have to say, as their observations tend to be the most interesting! And if you are so inclined, please  share your story with the Novato Historical Guild by following the instructions they have provided in this flyer.

Meanwhile, we wish you all a safe and happy holiday season. Your Pleasant Valley teachers and staff are honored to be a part of your lives. Thank you for your hard work thus far. We’ll see you in 2021.
